I have a love for hindi movies, and this one has got a special part of my heart. It was originally a 1990 film, which attained a cult status. In 2012 they remade it as the original movie director had passed and they wanted to pay tribute to him, and they did not disappoint.
Agneepath (the path of fire), is a great movie, full of action, story, romance, death, drama, anger, passion, there is so much to this, so I’ll start with the main selling feature…
Hrithik Roshan stars as the leading role of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan, the charismatic, traumatised boy who seeks vengaence, and to undo a wrong that occured to him as a child.
This is a beautiful telling, I walked away from this movie having a new found respect for Hrithik Roshan’s acting chops. He is truly a master of his craft, he did an amazing job with this movie. Of course, who am I to talk about his acting, the Bollywood movie world loves this man, and I can see why.
As always I do not post spoilers, but I will give my rating, this is a solid 8.5 out of 10. Cinematically speaking, beautiful, story amazing, acting, as to be expected by the high calibre actors/actresses working on this movie. Very well put together. Absolutely love it. I hope you will too!
