And in the past few years, I worked developing enterprise solutions to complex issues for my trade in the military. The solution I created has won me several awards and a lot of clout within the trade, and in fact, the military.

So now that the background is done, what type of website am I building? Well, its sorta a secret, but it is coming along. Today, I purchased my new domain, and I am about to put my code online and start developing on a live server to test load balancing issues for the SQL queries. Its going to be a lot of fancy stuff going on in the background. I pondered if I would use wordpress (like so many sites do) or if I would write using another base, or just plainly ground up program my own PHP demon. I opted for a pre-made CMS, but not wordpress. I figured I needed something that was a little less complex to work with out the gate.
