I still have a lot more to go with this game, and this play through. I am only on chapter 6 or 7 out of I believe 14. I won’t google to find out as I don’t want any spoilers. Despite knowing how the original game ended, I am finding new moments of joy in this that I wasn’t expecting. The way they did the cutscenes, expanding the existing story that I know, while keeping true to the memories I have of it from my childhood is amazing.
Keeping fan favourite elements in the game such as Cloud having to dress up like a woman is here, and it is beautiful. With so much going on in the game, both new and old material, it really keeps the story moving forward, fast paced, but well done. I am beyond happy about this. As a fan I have wanted to see all this move forward.
