So when does this game end? Well, from what I have been told, it ends when you would normally leave Midgard. Which is expected, to max out in the game, it takes about 58 hours of gameplay for completionist (get everything, max everything). So what more does that leave from the original story? Well, a lot! This game had 60 hours of gameplay at its core for the OG title, this new game has 58-60 hours of gameplay.

So how will the next games pan out? When will they come? Well, I don’t know, but the answer of ‘not soon enough’ comes to mind. All my friends have the same question, do you import your save file in the next game and continue? Is the next game just an expansion (DLC) to the launch game? How will this work? Because we want our materia, weapons, etc, to carry forward. But the developers haven’t told us how this will all work.
And this is visibly making some people upset in the community. But don’t fret, we will know more soon, the world hasn’t ended yet, and neither has the Final Fantasy VII Remake story. We will hopefully know more in the future, we need answers, we want answers, and we want the rest of the story. And we hope it’ll be as close to open world as it can be for the next release. It should be, Final Fantasy VII had an amazing open world adventure / story. Lets hope they give us every last detail they can of the original adventure and experience. I don’t care how many games it takes, so long as they deliver 50-60 hours of content per game drop. I’d happily buy it and play it.
But if the devs are reading this, I have favour to ask, please, please, make Advent Children’s story into prologue adventure. The movie was amazeballs, and being able to play it out would fullfill a major dream for the fans. We would also like flashbacks of crisis core be playable, ya know, because we are hardcore fans.
