Everyday should be an adventure. Every, single, day.

My bike racked out.

Every single day I bike to and from work. This is my health management. My heart strengthening routine. It’s 25km a day. It adds up quickly. Builds leg strength, heart health, improves quality of life. Everyday, is an adventure.

The sights you can see.

There is blossoming wildlife everywhere, take in a breath, enjoy it. It’s all around us and if we open our eyes we will see it. My journey everyday is full of wildlife, deer mostly. But geese are a thing too.

Ultimately I chose this lifestyle to improve my health, lose weight, and strengthen my own resolve at all things in life.

The view…

Since starting my cycling journey I have lost about 8lbs, which isn’t much, but I only started this 2 weeks ago. Now I know I am ranting about this and its benefits. But this isn’t the first time I’ve done this. I used to do this all the time until I was hit by a truck. I stopped for a few years, had to rebuild my confidence and get over the fear of biking. I’m still in pain from that incident but it no longer controls me and my health, well it’s the most important.

Be adventurous and enjoy life. Pedal, skateboard, jog, do something for your heart health. Trust me, you’ll never regret it.
