WordPress is amazing, don’t get me wrong, I have a few other sites that I am working on with my team (yes I have a team) and we are intending to launch those sites this year as well. We as a team are developing a lot of little websites with big intentions. But the site I am developing is by far the largest, once it is stood up and running, we will most likely spend a year (if not longer) building it and promoting it.
Right now it is just me developing it as I am foremost a backbone developer, UI is something I can do, but my co-workers have a lot more artistic talent than I, so I will leave it to them. I’ll do the base UI and they will advance it and carry it forward.
The purchase of the new domain is somewhat of a big step, because that means the commitment is there to actually turn it into a real thing. We have a dream of becoming more than just military members, we want to retire from our dangerous career and move into something that will feed our families, and keep us home with them. Thus our multitude of websites, hell, SimmyDizzle.com is one of those sites that we run. Sure, it is basic right now, but we will continue to push into this site.
In about 2 months we intend to convert our other domain, sflcnetwork.com from the holder domain it is right now, to a corporation site, detailing all of our other sites. This is a big step, we are actively working on the new that site (but you won’t see it change over for a while yet). We have a few other domains but we haven’t set them up yet so I won’t list them here. But big things are coming.
